I came across this Tlingit story the other day about a little boy named Xat. He found a feather on the beach, but when he picked it up, the feather started to carry him upwards. Unable to let go, the other children grabbed ahold, trying to pull him back down. Then the women working in the village noticed that all the children were flying away, so the also grabbed hold, trying to rescue the children. Then the men followed. This is part of a story explaining how a whole village disappeared.

This will be my last wordy post, I promise. I really need to draw something to post up. Two events this weekend: First Friday's in Juneau, I'll be at Jim Kelly's State Farm office at 9109 Mendenhall Mall Rd #1. Art and limited copies of my book will be for sale. I will be putting on a bigger show at the same location in April, so look out for that. Second, on Saturday I'll be presenting on preproduction in regards to "A Klondike Tale" for Reel Films at JAHC at 7 & 8:30.
