For my Concept,Technique, and Illustration class, we had to paint a poster for the Academy that was 20*30 inches. This is what resulted of that. As simple as it is, I am pretty pleased with it.

Fairy Layout

I did this drawing as a final last semester in my layout class, but didn't get around to doing the value study until last night. The theme was for fairy who is an artist.

Concept Characters for my Klondike story

This week I was working on character development for my heroine, Mae Field, and main villain "Soapy" Smith. This is the first pass, so the final design may end up looking completely different.

Clothed Figure Workshop sketches

I did these yesterday in a clothed figure drawing workshop. My teachers all hate the ball-point pen I use, but I find it to be extremely convenient and ready-at-hand. It also makes me commit to my lines and eliminates any desire to erase.
